Local Love: Loot Vintage Scouting Trip

Yesterday, Natalie and I had the chance to take a little FELIZ prop scouting field trip.  We headed out to Loot Vintage Rentals to see and touch their gorgeous treasures in person.

Loot Vintage is run by two Austin women who happen to be sisters-in-law and share a love for old things.  Both grew up around antiques and yard sale finds. It’s no surprise they have a knack for finding those “just right” items.

Their inventory is massive; including everything from pews to plates, chairs and couches, rugs and table coverings, and much more. They also provide custom pieces for those that want the DIY look but can’t find the time.

We fell in love with these chairs recovered in World War II tent canvas, this gorgeous rug and these fun old pillows in the best patterns and colors. We hope to incorporate some of their pieces into FELIZ…but shh…we couldn’t show you our absolute favorites because-well, you know. We like a little element of surprise.
