Local Love: Food Heads

First off, we’d like to thank all of you who applied to FELIZ. We’re currently processing the applications and will get back to each and every on of you by July 9, 2012. We can’t wait to share our final makers with you all!

Naturally, all that work gives us a hefty appetite and so I’d thought I’d share one of my very favorite Austin restaurants today, FoodHeads.

FoodHeads has the best sandwich in town (the chicken special), interesting daily soup specials, fresh salads and a casual, home like atmosphere.  It’s a great place to meet for lunch, especially if the weather cooperates and you can enjoy their outside deck.

I like to get there early in the morning, before all the crowds, and enjoy some breakfast tacos while pouring over their sizable collection of old foodie magazines.
